使用基因编缉技术删除小鼠Uox（尿酸氧化酶）基因外显子 ，构建自发高尿酸血症小鼠模型。血尿酸水平稳定，介于500-800μmol/L之间，别嘌呤醇维持，表现出严重的高尿酸血症和尿酸肾病，伴随肾功能损害、脂质代谢障碍、胰岛素分泌受损等代谢紊乱的特征。可以作为理想的人高尿酸血症及其肾病并发症的动物模型，尿酸性慢性肾脏病模型，痛风性关节炎模型。高尿酸血症(hyperuricemia,HUA)是由尿酸合成增加和(或)排泄减少引起的代谢性疾病。HUA与肥胖、高血压、慢性肾脏病、2型糖尿病（diabetes mellitus type 2，T2DM）、痛风（Gout）、关节炎等疾病的发生发展密切相关。
