Lpr MpJ-Faslpr lymphoproliferation
由多个品系杂交获得MRL/MpJ，在近交至第12代的时候，发现了Fas基因的隐性突变，携带该突变基因的纯和动物有明显的淋巴细胞增生（lymphoproliferation, lpr）情况，在第13代的时候，将携带突变的动物单独建系，之后通过多次与野生支系的杂交，将Faslpr基因导入MRL/MpJ背景中，同时将杂合性从11%降低到了1%，从而将突变基因 Faslpr转移至MRL阴性品系，产生具有自身免疫性疾病临床表现的品系MRL/lpr。淋巴细胞增殖自发突变 (Faslpr) 小鼠，从大约三月龄起，MRL-lpr/lpr小鼠的循环免疫复合物水平显著升高，表现出全身自身免疫、异常T细胞增殖相关巨大淋巴结病、关节炎和免疫复合物肾小球肾炎。雌鼠和雄鼠的平均寿命分别为17周和22周。系统性红斑狼疮 (systemic lupus erythematosus, SLE)模型。肖格伦 (Sicca)综合征模型。干燥综合征、免疫炎症、伤口愈合率较高。
